Small garage shop — Tequesta, Florida

Small-shopTIGwelding

Aluminum and stainless steel, welded by hand under argon — one careful bead at a time. We’re a small garage shop for bench-top TIG repairs and small fabrication jobs the bigger shops often turn away.

small shop, careful work, straight answers.

What we do

TIG welding.
That’s all.

We do one process, and we do it carefully: TIG welding, by hand, on aluminum and stainless steel. No MIG, no stick, no production runs — just small bench-top repairs and small fabrication jobs, done by the person you talk to.

01

Aluminum TIG

6061 and 5052 sheet, castings, brackets, fittings and small piping. AC balance tuned per alloy for a clean, controllable puddle.

02

Stainless TIG

304 and 316 repairs, small exhaust work, brackets, handrails and fixtures. Argon back-purge on roots where the job calls for it.

Two kinds of work: small TIG repairs and small fabrication jobs. Both welcome here.

Small TIG repairs

Bring the
broken part.

A cracked casting, a snapped tab, a thin-wall tube that split at the weld — the kind of small bench-top repair a big shop won’t bother quoting. Bring it in and we’ll tell you straight whether it’s weldable, then TIG it carefully back into service.

  • Cracked or broken aluminum castings
  • Blown-out threads and stripped mounting tabs
  • Pinholes, porosity and re-welds gone wrong
  • Thin-wall tube and small fittings
  • Brackets, mounts and tabs re-attached
  • Small stainless exhaust and handrail repairs

Small fabrication jobs

Need a part
that doesn’t exist?

A one-off bracket, a small frame, a custom fitting — the small fabrication work that doesn’t fit a big shop’s minimum order. We’ll fixture it, purge it where it matters, and TIG it together one careful joint at a time.

  • One-off brackets, tabs and mounting plates
  • Small frames, jigs and fixtures
  • Custom stands, feet and supports
  • Small stainless handrails and rail fittings
  • Aluminum piping and small tank fittings
  • Prototypes and short one-off runs

Why a small shop

Small shop.
Real attention.

We’re not a large industrial welding company, and that’s the point. A small garage shop means your job isn’t a line item — it’s the work on the bench that day.

01

You talk to the welder

No counter staff, no call center. You deal directly with John — the person who’ll actually run the bead on your part.

02

Small jobs are welcome

No minimum order and no “too small to quote.” The one-off repair or single bracket is exactly the work we take on.

03

Straight answers

If a part isn’t weldable, or another process fits it better, we’ll tell you up front — before you spend a dime.

04

Careful, not high-volume

This is bench-top TIG work, not a production line. Each joint gets fixtured, purged where needed, and inspected before it leaves.

About

The welder
behind the arc

Fawcett Fabrication is a small, hands-on garage shop built on a simple idea: TIG welding is a craft, not a commodity. We stay small on purpose, so every joint gets the same care and the same straight answer it would on day one.
